You are duly summoned to attend the Meeting of Churchill and Blakedown Parish Council to be held at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 18th October 2017 at Blakedown Sports and Recreation Centre.

AGENDA

1. Chairman’s Opening Remarks.

2. Apologies for absence: To receive apologies and to approve reasons for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest: To receive any declarations of interest.

4. Community Policing: To receive any report from the Beat Officer/CSO.

The meeting will be adjourned for Public Question Time.

Residents are invited to give their views and question the Parish Council on issues on this agenda, or raise issues for future consideration at the discretion of the Chairman; brief notes will be appended on the minutes as an aide memoire.

 

5. Dispensations: To consider any requests to grant a dispensation for Agenda items.

6. Minutes: To consider the approval of the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 20th September 2017 (enclosed).

7. District and County Council Matters: To receive any report from County or District Council representatives.

8. Lengthsman & Environmental Maintenance Reports: 

a) Lengthsman: To receive an update on the recruitment of a new Lengthsman.

b) Litter and grass cutting: To receive an update on the litter and grass cutting contracts.

c) Benches and bus shelters: Any updates

9. Highways, Traffic, Car Park and Parking Matters:

a) Highways/traffic/speed enforcement issues: Update on installation of village gateways.

b) Vehicle Activated Signs: Any updates. c) Car Park and Parking Matters: Any issues to report.

10. The Churchill and Blakedown Villages Trust: Any updates following the Meeting of the Trust prior to the Parish Council Meeting.

11. Newsletter: Update on progress of articles for the next newsletter.

12. DCLG Consultation on the Extension of Referendum Principles to Parish and Town Councils: Members are asked to consider if they wish to make a response to the consultation which closes on the 26th October 2017. Information has been circulated by email.

13. Wyre Forest Local Plan Review: Report from the meeting with Hagley Parish Council, Representatives from Wyre Forest District Council and Worcestershire County Council on the 17th October 2017.
